Job Title: Licensed Aesthetician
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Aesthetician to join our patient-centered dermatology clinic. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in clinical skincare and a passion for helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful skin. You will work alongside board-certified dermatologists and medical providers to deliver both cosmetic and therapeutic skin treatments tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform medical-grade aesthetic treatments such as:
- Customized facials – Lasers
- Chemical peels
- Microneedling
- Dermaplaning
- Acne treatments
- Pre- and post-laser skin care
- Provide education on proper skincare routines, product use, and treatment options based on individual skin assessments.
- Assist in the coordination of cosmetic procedures and treatments in collaboration with dermatologists and physician assistants.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, patient interactions, and product recommendations in the EMR system (ModMed).
- Uphold strict hygiene, sterilization, and safety standards in compliance with medical regulations.
Support clinic goals by recommending appropriate cosmetic products and services to patients. - Participate in staff training, product knowledge sessions, and continuing education to stay current with aesthetic advancements.
- Build strong relationships with patients by providing an exceptional experience that aligns with the clinic’s high standards of care.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted State Aesthetician License
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in a dermatology or medical aesthetic environment (preferred)
- Familiarity with clinical-grade skincare lines (e.g., SkinCeuticals, EltaMD, PCA, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary medical team
- Comfortable with EMR systems and digital scheduling
- Professional demeanor and strong patient service orientation
