About Dr. Tchanqué-Fossuo
Dr. Catherine Tchanqué-Fossuo completed her undergraduate studies at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris, France before receiving a Master of Science degree in Toxicology from American University. After obtaining her Doctor of Medicine from Michigan State University, she initially trained in general surgery before pursuing a plastic surgery research fellowship at the University of Michigan, followed by a fellowship in burn, critical care and plastic surgery at Johns Hopkins.
Her avid interest in dermatology, led her to a clinical dermatology fellowship at the University of California, Davis. She subsequently completed her dermatology residency at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, where she has received extensive training in all aspects of dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, laser and dermatologic surgeries.
Dr. Catherine Tchanqué-Fossuo established Calyx Dermatology to deliver a premier full service as a double board-certified dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. She serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine, New Mexico. She is a member of several provisional societies. Dr. Catherine Tchanqué-Fossuo is committed to excellence, providing the best personalized dermatologic care, and full experience to every single patient.
Dr. Tchanqué-Fossuo’s interests include general and procedural dermatology, community service and public education. Outside of work, she enjoys a beautiful chaotic life with her husband and three children. She speaks French and Spanish.
